Artisan

Artisan defined – An artisan is a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand.

For Sole Survivor, this specifically refers to making leather belts, bags, wallets and more. It’s what we do every day at Sole Survivor. And that is why we call ourselves leather Artisans

Sole Survivor leather artisans use timeless traditions to create contemporary and enduring leather goods. Our exclusive house-made designs both complement and enhance modern and vintage fashions.

Would you like to see Sole Survivor leather artisans at work? Everyone is invited to tour the workshop in Maplewood, MO. Workshop tours are open on Saturdays from 10-3 or weekdays by appointment. To set up a weekday visit, please email kay.rye@solesurvivorleather.com.

The workshop is located on the lower level of the retail store.. The address is 7358 Manchester Rd, Maplewood, MO 63143. The Maplewood community borders the city limits of St. Louis west, just minutes away from Forest Park, The St. Louis Art Museum and the St. Louis Zoo.
